This afternoon as I was helping Isabelle into her THIRD outfit (!) due to stains and dirt, I picked up her latest pair of dirty (we're talking dirt pouring out of them) socks and threw them into the freshly emptied laundry hamper in her room. I scoldingly remarked to her that this was yet another pair of dirty socks for the day -- at which she replied winsomely with a bit of a 'Little House on the Prairie' accent, "That's just what happens when you're a farm girl, Ma!"
