Isabelle has taken to composing. This consists of writing out notes on paper, putting dynamic signs in, and labeling which instrument plays which line. It's very sweet. Currently she is working on "Minuet 4" (we have 3 Minuets in our repertoire of music, so she must have seen the need for a 4th). Today, after I praised her for her talents and showed interest in her latest "composition", I told her that perhaps she would grow up to be a composer. She exclaimed with exasperated satisfaction -- "Oh Mom, I don't know what I'm going to do!? I'm just SO GOOD at everything!!"
(well, I guess her self-esteem is alive and well!). Smile.
