It's on days like this that I wish time would stand still. Mornings where you can walk and live and think and breathe in thankfulness. It isn't hard to do when one looks at the small details of life: the berry ripened and ready for winter birds, the stillness of the air over dew-covered grass, the new shade of magenta-orange-red that you've never fully appreciated before, the smell of breakfast lingering in the kitchen, the touch of a child stroking your cheek ....
These tiny gifts of God all bloom into one billowing heap of joy when we allow them to. I'm there right now. Praise God. THIS is my very favorite place to be.
