For Everything, There is a Season ...

"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven . . . a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted ..." --Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

The garden has been put to bed. Ahhhhhh .... Truthfully, this is a dreaded job for me and is incredibly time-consuming. The last 3 years I have hired my dear neighbor's teens to come and complete the task. They enjoy earning some spending money, and I enjoy not spending the hours over many days to get it done. This is a HUGE check off my list and I can already feel myself breathing a bit easier. The kids and I have got the barn and animals cleaned up and ready for winter. Josiah completed cleaning the back windows of the house today after I sprayed off spiderwebs and dust from the siding. Slowly but surely, the tasks are getting completed. I don't want to be caught in another cold spell! The next time, it just may decide to stay :)
