Today was our first REAL day of summer break. This "first" day is one that finally comes after you've tried to institute a "schoolish" summer break with bits and pieces of school time throughout the day, and then finally just throw in the towel and say -- let's go play instead!
I don't think it's a coincidence that today my watch broke as well. Smile.
Hmmmmmm .... God gives BIG lessons in the tiniest of ways, don't you think?!
Here are my beautiful children at the end of their full and successful and growing school year. Josiah -- on the verge of manhood (can't you see that neck broadening?). Isaac -- who's come into his own this year with maturity and understanding and accepting (somewhat) of himself. And Isabelle -- so FULL of life. I'm so very, very blessed.
