- Why do people in my family think that dishes put in the sink wash themselves?
- Why, after the age of forty, do you only lose weight in the most inopportune places, like your ear lobes?
- Why do the clothes always look so vastly different on you then they do in the catalogues from which you bought them?
- Why, after years of consistent discipline otherwise, does human nature (at least in the hearts and lives of MY children) continue to cause us to plague our siblings with unending teasing and strife?
- Why does only our grass grow in a myriad of bumps and shallows, causing it to look like a shallow graveyard of dense green?
- Why is it that we all avoid putting in a new trash bag once we take the old one out?
- Why do you only get phone calls and emails when you don't have the time to really enjoy and appreciate them?
- Why can't men OR boys find (or even look?!) for things?
- Why, in the middle of the day, is there just as much traffic as the rest of the day? Do people not work anymore??!
- Why do construction projects take a MINIMUM of twice as long as they say they'll take?
- Why can't my husband keeps his trips to the local hardware store to JUST ONCE each Saturday?
- Why is it infinitely more enjoyable to START something than it is to FINISH it?
- (While waiting infinitely to turn south on 12th Ave.) Where do all these people come from?? And where in the world are they all going?
These are things I ask myself. Do you ever as well? :-)
