It took nearly 3 years from the time we first received OUR baby goats, for them to grow and produce their own offspring.
Last night we were tickled with the adorable end result! Triplets were born to our mildest goat "Clara" (named after Clara Barton). She did beautifully and we missed the birth by just a few minutes.
The baby kids are so tiny and yet able to stand and walk soon after birth. Mama has done beautifully and is eating the afterbirth here (yuck).
Joe finished our barn stall just a day ago -- perfect timing to have a warm, dry home for our newest members of the family! Two more mama goats are ready to "kid" any day. We'll keep you posted!
