Yes ... they are so very cute, aren't they?? But they are also little eating machines and in just 6 or 7 weeks they will be too fat to move and ready to be taken to "Cluck and Pluck" (yes, seriously, that is the name) to be butchered, defeathered, and made ready for the freezer! Mmmmm, home grown chickens are truly delicious!
