Today Isaac, Josiah and I spent a little over 6 hours attending, scorekeeping, and competing in our district wide Bible Quizzing Meet. The past week we've spent at least that amount of time in study and preparation memorizing and learning about the Old Testament book of Exodus.

While Isaac was disappointed that he missed 2 out of 60 questions, he did marvelously considering that none of the other 200 or so kids present competed perfectly either. Out of 47 teams, Crossroads placed 3rd and did a great job! I opted to not have Isabelle compete in this final meet. The preparation for it is rather intense and the Meet itself is VERY long. She was able to receive a trophy during the awards ceremony however for her memory work throughout the year. This will be our last Quiz Meet for a while. Isaac is now too old to continue (after 5 consecutive years! He's done awesome!!) and I need a break and a chance to spend that valuable time each week in other Bible study pursuits with my precious kids who are growing up WAY TOO FAST! Way to go Isaac and Isabelle. We are so proud of your efforts, hard work, and diligence in hiding God's Word in your hearts.
