Today was our first big "work outside" day and it felt good! Joe was able to trim all the berries and begin work on cutting the circles around the trees. Everyone chipped in to help (some more joyfully than others, smile). There was a HUGE stack of branches and leaves on the burn pile by the time we had finished.
Taking pride in our little "farm" has so much more meaning when we all participate in the work that goes into it! We finished the day with a tasty home-cooked meal and the kids jumping on the trampoline while Joe and I walked the field and "planted" more dreams in the soil of our minds.
