Every year for Valentine's Day, we celebrate with the kids by giving them a "treasure hunt" of sorts. On several heart shaped papers, we've written poems leading them to some location in the house and to their next heart-shaped clue. The treasure hunt ends with them finding a small gift and some candy to celebrate the day. We end the morning with pink, heart pancakes! Hope yours is a love-filled day!!
Our husbands got to talk today, apparently! Ron is encouraging me to talk to you about homeschooling in more detail... he doesn't have to twist my arm! Maybe I treat you to some coffee and yummies one of these days? :)

I am a dedicated homeschooling mother of 3 incredible and inspiring children. I am blessed to share my life with them, my husband of 22 years, my oversized Golden Retriever - Kale, a puppy named Snow, 2 spoiled barn cats and 2 adorable kittens, 25 some-odd chickens, 1 gentle giant of a horse and 1 cinnamon colored horse aptly named "Diesel", and thousands of honey bees on our 7 and a half acres in Idaho. I thank God each day for the privilege of living, loving, laughing, and learning with my family in the atmosphere of home education and all that it affords.
