Isabelle completed the last of her first grade readers during our homeschooling time this morning! We always make a BIG deal about this, complete with award, bells, whistles, and hugs galore. It has been my experience in teaching all three of my children how to read that, after reading the first of the second grade readers, they are then able and willing to pull anything off the shelf and read it. I'm thrilled especially for Isabelle to be at this point at such a young age because she has an insatiable thirst for learning about the world around her. Books will likely be good friends in her future!

Exciting News!
