Harvest time ... in more ways than one.

Isn't God good? After two stormy days (which made a mess of my garden!), we get the gift of this incredible sunset. "Red sky at night, sailors delight!"

The early Autumn weather has arrived and is incredibly welcomed and beautiful! Isaac and Isabelle were great helps in the garden today helping me tie together corn stalks, shuck our Indian corn, and pick decorative gourds.

The Indian corn we grew this year was so incredibly sturdy and strong. The stalks were thick and colorful, each one withstanding the strong winds of our latest storms. And look at the result!! These Indian corn remind me of my children as a result of the lifetime of learning philosophy played out in our homeschooling. Like the corn, each one is unique in its pattern and color. Individually, they stand out, make a statement, and beg to bring glory to God through their incredible lives being lived out according to His will. I love Autumn; but even more, I love the harvest I see in my life and in the lives of my children each and every day.
