Our entire family was blessed by an early spring visit with our precious and beloved friends and godparents, the Coose family -- visiting all the way from Sydney, Australia. Although short, we managed to pack in several hours of playtime, long talks, and a couple of walks while they were here. The highlight however was their time meeting and getting to know "Buck" during one afternoon!

Sarah grew to love and learn about horses during her time living in Idaho. With much experience and a missed longing to ride, this short excursion on Buck was a blessing for her, and for Isabelle to share with her favorite of friends.

Even Andy and Dyana got in on the deal and each eagerly hopped (or perhaps "plunged" would be the more accurate word!) onto his back for a little walk around the pasture happily led by Isabelle.

My dearest and long time friend (she and I met when she was Sarah's age), will never quite live this picture or experience down!! :-)

The boys treasured their time with Thomas playing, telling stories, building legos, and even riding go-carts together for an afternoon excursion with Andy and "the boys".

The kids were enthralled with our "puppy" Snow and she was happy as a clam with more children to chase after and love on.

The girls visited all their old play spots, spending hours under the willow with stick horses and dress up and their lively imaginations. Sarah is an irreplaceable part of Isabelle's life. Their times together are so very sweet.

It was easier to say goodbye this time (although tears are still being shed on occasion). The house and our lives felt a bit empty as we drove away and contemplated just how long it will be until we touch and hug and live alongside eachother again. Australia feels like a world away at times, but really it is only a phone call. God is so faithful to give us kindred spirits during this lifetime. We are ever praiseworthy for this privilege. Life will go onward and continue to move forward. It is just a little bit easier with friends along the way ....
