The Long Winter

I've come to the conclusion that I am living in the "Long Winter" -- only rather than blizzards, we are plagued with sickness. To take stock (and just in case you've been wondering what we've been up to), since the beginning of December we have had:
-- 3 cases of stomach flu
-- 1 very horrible cold virus passing between 4 of us over the entire month of February and lasting an average of 2 weeks (me, 3 1/2!)
-- 3 sinus infections!!!
-- 1 heart issue brought on by virus (which included some very expensive tests)
-- several fevers, ongoing coughs, sniffles, and sleep-disturbed nights.

In spite of this, I really feel praiseworthy as God has enabled us to be well just on the weeks when we needed it most, including our Capstone week in January and the week just recently when the Coose's were here from Australia.

Joe likens our poor health to a train wreck which, "though it doesn't happen very often, when it does -- all the cars go!"

We are anxious here to have the sun come out in the weeks to come; to find ourselves working outside more and hopefully sniffling less. Hoping this finds you enjoying good health yourselves!

So sorry you have all been feeling so rotten! The heart issue sounds scary...hopefully everything is fine now. We will continue to be in prayer for your family. Thanks for letting us know what is going on so our prayers can be specific. If you are in need of a meal or some errands run while you are feeling under the weather, please give us a call....would love to help out our friends! The Price Family

Wish we lived closer, I would have brought some "Jewish Penicillin" over! Glad to hear the Kronz family is on the mend. Just in time for Spring!
