Suzuki Institute 2008

Josiah's Honor Recital performance. He played "Millionaire's Hoedown" beautifully and had the audience clapping along with him.

Isabelle in her "Technique" class. Each teacher clued in on her poor violin posture -- which is a constant piece of work with this strong-willed young lady :) The little girl in the turquoise shirt became Isabelle's little friend throughout the week.

Josiah tried his hand at the cello for one of his "Enrichment Classes". He prefers the violin, but I certainly love the deep tones of the cello!

Isabelle during her "Repertoire Class" in which she and about 35 other youngsters practiced the songs in Suzuki Book 1. At this point in the class I'm guessing she was thinking, "Enough with this violin! When is it Arts and Crafts??"

The kids performed in several concerts including one featuring their "Orchestra Class". They all played beautifully and I think it was fun for Josiah to play in such a large group.

Final concert of the Idaho Suzuki Institute! This picture was taken before Isabelle began playing with her sandals and turning completely around so that she could see and smile at Josiah :)
Whew! Another year under our belt!!
