We had the unique and wonderful experience of eating an entire dinner which we had grown ourselves. Here is one of the 27 chickens we raised to eat this summer. It tasted wonderful and made all that poop worth the efforts! In addition to the baked chicken, we enjoyed freshly dug new potatoes and salad with the last of our lettuce and tomatoes. It's a blessing and a joy to take part in "working the soil" and providing for our family.
