A Well-Earned Finish

Isaac sat at the piano for the last time in a recital setting on Monday night.  With keen eyes and a desire to finish well, his solo piece was appropriately entitled .... "A Time to Say Goodbye".

For 9 years he has sat nearly weekly at the side of his beloved teacher (and dear friend) - Ms. Jodi.   He has faithfully practiced, struggled, laughed, cried, and simultaneously loved and hated his instrument of choice over these years ....

In our home, music is just another school subject so his daily time at the piano was simply understood.  But the time has come for him to move on to other interests and use his time for new passions and pastimes.  He and I played a duet together as well as his solo and the Lord worked miraculously in both -- allowing us to finish well this chapter in his life.   Well done son.  I am so proud of you.
