It's the most wonderful time of the year!! We enjoyed decorating our Christmas tree today after church. This year we spent a bit more $$ to get a really beautiful tree. The kids decorated nearly the whole thing themselves after Joe put the lights on. I'm happy to admit to you all that God is really helping me to relax these days. The whole lower half of the tree is jam packed with ornaments where Isabelle's eye level is. In some places the ornaments hang nearly to the floor with less than an inch in between at some spots! I was laughing with a friend when I shared that 10 years ago the lopsided ornamented tree would have greatly bothered me, while 5 years ago I would have smiled and changed it later, but now ... I just enjoy 20 ornaments in one square foot knowing that someday I'll long to see such a sight!
